This paper he cited from the doctors at Stanford and Harvard that shows proof that AA and other 12 Step fellowship programs get the same or better results than treatments from modern health professionals is pretty groundbreaking...! Also the answer to the question of why has addiction been around since ancient times and not cancelled itself out? Because it's survivors/ fighters that are higher incidence of being alcoholic or addicts. It makes perfect sense. I was the one in my family calm under crisis. Time slowed down. I was engaged. Such a good man and a God-send to addicts. I work with them on a daily basis and those with other illnesses and they need this type of understanding. A lot of Americans are extremely judgemental and ignorant on the subject. Pharmacists are vocal in their judgement of addicts, we see them at seminars, they are probably one of the worst.
